Numulgi Hall
a BUILDING for COMMUNITY
a BUILDING for COMMUNITY
11th, 12th and 14th November we hosted classes for social dancing. A huge thank you to Roni and Adrian, our teachers, for their gift of time, expertise and commiitment to our little group of wanna-be-dancers! We learnt some challenging dances as well as some simple and familiar ones. Friday evening was an excellent social time of easy dances and a shared supper and chat. Thanks to all who came and supported Numulgi Hall with their donations.
Numulgi Hall Gathering October 19 2025
It was a Big Afternoon!
Thank you to Gary, Mike and Gerry for entertainment including performing the 'Numulgi Hall Song' composed by Gary.
Laurie and Margaret Armstrong and Ross and Raylene Daley were awarded Life Memberships to Numulgi Hall for their service to the community over many years - including keeping the hall on it's old stumps.
Thank you to Red Cross for their preparation, printing and presentation of the book, 'Tales as Old as Time' created from our event in November 2024 where our long term locals shared their tales from the old days - Bill Elliot, Narelle Ceirpiol, Lyn Parish, Trish Claydon and Sharon Pepper.
Darren Perkins encouraged some very generous bidding as he auctioned our old hall stumps to the community. Almost everyone took home a bit of history! Thanks so much.
We cooked a free BBQ while people gathered and caught up with neighbours and friends of the hall.

Hall Gatherings are on Sunday afternoons several times through out the year. A BBQ with BYO drinks and a comfy chair for an informal chat with neighbours and friends.
Numulgi Hall was built in 1919 as a place for the community to connect and grow together.
We welcome people to our hall to join existing classes; be a part of our gatherings; use the hall as a place for their own celebrations; or... bring their own skills and interests to share with others.
Numulgi also boasts it's own tennis court! Right across the road from the hall. See the fitness tab for details.
